Amélie Hendrickx recently graduated from the Co.Starters business fundamentals course. Learn more about her journey below.

Amélie’s business idea came about when she was working in retail and her customers were continuously complimenting her natural looking make-up and asked how she achieved that look.

"I saw a gap in the market and found no one was teaching consumers how to do everyday makeup, naturally, with the products they already owned."

"Being a mother myself, I really wanted to help other mothers feel more confident in doing their everyday makeup, in an affordable and simple way."

Amélie studied at two beauty schools in France, where she completed the hair and makeup course at  Acte Academy and the Esthétique-Cosmetique course through cedeb Global Beauty, which is located in Belgium.

Since going through Soda’s Co.Starter programme, the business has refined its offerings and expanded its range of services. Amélie’s will launch in January of 2021 and now has services that are tailored to each clients preferences, time, skin and makeup bag to ensure every client can achieve their desired looks with brands they know and love.

"The greatest value in this course is the accountability, weekly goals and targets, specific to my business and the support with the finance aspects of the business."
