The CO.STARTERS programme helps entrepreneurs and business startups by equipping them with the best tools and resources needed to support and grow their business. A cohort is underway at the moment but the next cohort will begin on January 21 2020.

What to expect

If you have a great business idea or startup and an entrepreneurial mind-set, we want to help you develop it further.

The CO.STARTERS programme helps entrepreneurs and business startups by equipping them with the best tools and resources needed to support and grow their business.

This nine week programme will provide you with the knowledge you need to start your business and grow your understanding of running a business.  It’s NOT a course with lectures, course notes and a certificate of completion. CO.STARTERS™ is 'hands-on' – where you will work on your idea and have a facilitator coach you along the way and you’ll receive access to world class tools and methodologies you can re-use even after our workshop has ended.

CO.STARTERS is based at Soda's HQ in Hamilton (and other venues in due course and based on demand) where 10 -15 like-minded business startups can work together with two facilitators to widen their understanding of what their business is and needs.

COLLABORATION. CONNECTION. COMMUNITY.

Drawing from the experience of successful entrepreneurs and startup veterans from around the globe, CO.STARTERS nine-week programme walks startups and small-business owners through lean, effective business modeling methods in a simple and intuitive way, and with the help of a supportive community.

What do you get out of this?

You don't know what you don't know.  This programme will give you insights and tools to help you start your business and accelerate your business knowledge.  One of the most powerful things you can do for yourself and your business is learn fast about your idea to give it the best chance of being successful.  Too many new businesses fail and many from a lack of knowledge about their market or their business understanding.

Your Facilitators:

Every week your facilitators will guide you through a specific topic and guest speakers, who have been where you are now, will tell you their stories and what they did.  CO.STARTERS™ facilitators are experienced business owners from the community who guide participants through the program by asking the right questions, drawing on the knowledge in the room, and using available resources and connections in the community to point participants in the right direction.

Your Commitment:

You will need to commit to three hours every week for nine weeks and be prepared to put in some extra time outside of these hours.  What you will get in return is a powerful support network and be ready to move forward with your ideas faster. These three hour sessions will be held from 5.30pm - 8.30pm one night each week.
