KoruKabl placed 3rd in our Seed Grant event - taking home $1,000.

An innovative idea, looking to develop into something bigger. KoruKabl are rewiring the planet through creating electric cables, wrapped in natural resources. Eliminating plastic is not only working in the environments favour, but also the consumers. The natural materials are self-extinguishing, abrasion resistant and flexible, making them a more durable option, compared to traditional plastic wrapped electrical cables. A win, win.

KoruKabl founder, Mike Phillips explained the real value he took away from working with Soda during this process, came from the experience and resources provided by Soda. The templates and information distributed prior to the event, allowed Mike to consider his business fundamentals in more depth. This created a confident and in-depth pitch.

Having access to such templates and getting to talk with business minds, has influenced the next phase of KoruKabl's plan moving forward. Mike is now busy developing a 90 day plan, building a small team and creating connections with people in the relevant industries to progress his idea further.

Mike has been following Soda for a while, as he wanted to tap into our knowledge around different business streams that apply to him specifically. Through following our social media accounts, he discovered the event details, where he took up the opportunity for our Seed Grant.
