In the heart of New Zealand’s largest export region, Hamilton City Council provides the local government services which manage the natural, physical and social resources of the country’s largest inland city – Hamilton. 

Nine key strategies set out Hamilton City Council’s aspirations for the city, including the Creativity and Identity Strategy which aims to find uniquely Hamilton projects to build on the region’s creative ideas, and networks to foster innovation and creativity. Soda Inc. is one such project, and one of the strategy’s flagship initiatives.
